Louis Fitton AKA Louf discovered electronic music when frequenting clubs in Leeds, such as Wire, and meeting longtime collaborator Tom VR with whom he co-found Valby Rotary, a label focusing on the emotive side of club music. Louf self-released his first two track EP, VALBY001 in January 2017, and since has continued to release music on the label, and DJ. 'Skara', the title track from Louf's forthcoming EP is out today on all digital platforms. It sees warm analogue synths ripple from left to right, and ambient whispers echo like voices of fairies in the woodland. Like a calm water buffalo's stride, a mystifying drum pattern makes it's way into the soundscape, gradually becoming more groove-centred. 'Skara' invites a tempo that's tranquil, and a mood that's both visceral and intriguing. -Ellie Rose-Davies
